About AJ Trosclair

A native of South Louisiana Angelo J. Trosclair III, known to friends as AJ, was raised on the west bank of New Orleans. His parents and older brother, Frank Trosclair eventually relocated to the Bossier City area. AJ is married to Lou and has 3 children, Ashlea, Christopher and Allie. All of whom love horses and are skilled equestrians.

AJ has experienced a long and prosperous career as a jockey. He began his profession at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans at the age of 16. He and his agent, Brother Frank, experienced some of the greatest thrills along with some of the lowest defeats. They were a team for twenty years.

Overall his career was stellar and his lists of riding accolades are long. Retiring in 1999 he is now providing trusted services for the trainers and owners he rode for over the years.
